Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, December 1964. MacDonald is a believer in the accessibility of art, whether viewing or making it. He is a self-taught artist whose first love is drawing. Recently, Angus expanded his visual style with the use of natural dyes such as brewed coffee and masticated beet pulp along with traditional ink and watercolors. He often makes his small sized abstractions in series. He also makes extraordinary vignettes featuring floating craniums, bobsledding monsters and a host of other bizarre creatures.

Angus MacDonald’s work is displayed in small collections in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Scottsdale, Budapest, Brussels and London.
